1. Banking and Financial Institutions for whom we prepare instruments relating to loan facilities, guarantees and indemnities, securities relating to land and other assets other than land as well as letters of credit.

2. Various Trusts which engage this firm to handle their creation, preparation of instrument subsidiary to, modifying and extinguishing these trusts. Application for change of trustees as well as appointment of new trustees are done as are advisory services on their taxation.

3. Insurance Companies which have entrusted to our competence their recovery of outlays and defending of claims. Advisory services on inter-alia construction of insurance policies and the law of Insurance are also offered.

4. Non-Governmental Organisations whose applications for registration we handle as well as the preparation and certification of their constitutions for registration purposes. In addition we are involved in applications for the renewal of their certificates of registration as well as for work permits in respect of their prospective employees.

5. Individuals on whose behalf we institute and defend proceedings, selectively prepare wills and handle succession and divorce matters as well as adoption applications. We execute substantial conveyances for them and commission and notarise their affidavits in addition to certification of their documents. We are also involved in applications for issuance of entry and work permits for them.

6. Corporate Organisations and Business Entities who engage us in the preparation of memorandum and articles of association, local incorporation and registration of companies as well as joint venture set-ups. Secretarial matters such as filing of returns in addition to advisory and advocacy referral services with emphasis on company and business law are offered.

7. Health Management Organisations on whose behalf we employ our transactional practice in preparation of membership contracts. We are engaged in debt collection as well as in advocacy referral services. We are also actively involved in alternative dispute resolution of medical disputes and general legal advisory services.

8. Foreign Embassies and Missions on whose behalf we offer consultation in respect of a wide range of matters including compliance with local laws, diplomatic immunities, conflict of laws and disputes involving their nationals in the country.

9. Religious Organisations and Congregations on whose behalf we complete the incorporation of their registered trustees as corporate bodies and handle their applications for certificates of incorporation as well as for certification of appointment of new trustees. The firm undertakes an across the board retainer relationship for such institutions.

We will endeavour to provide an indication as to the professional input and time that will be necessary in effecting the clients’ instructions as well as estimates of the legal costs likely to be incurred in any particular matter.

Our services are billed on the basis of the Advocate Remuneration Order or alternatively at an agreed hourly rate as determined by the Advocate-Client agreement reached at the initial stages when setting out the terms of engagement. We also encourage a retainer relationship with several organisations and our corporate clients.
